Hmmm. I really wanted to like this book more than I did. It was a decent concept, but there were some things that just didn’t work for me. First of all, there were a number of continuity and editing errors. These may not sound like a big deal, but they do take the reader out of the story. Additionally, the bad guy was super obvious right from the start. This didn’t make for a very suspenseful read. Still, this book wasn’t bad; it just wasn’t great either. ☆ This review might contain some spoilers but I'll try my best not to leave any identifying points ☆So, I just finished my ARC copy of, 'Love Me Again'...and I am absolutely in love with it. Austin and Charlie completely captured me with the redemption and the trauma that they had experienced. It totally caught me up in my feelings and made me tear up some. Max had me jumping around thinking that I had it figured out who was behind everything and then the next I was second guessing it...and then finding out who it was and what they had been up to and all they had done. I wanted Austin to kick their ass so bad, but hell yes to...Whoops, nope. I cannot continue that thought 😁I was also so glad that Max had Austin and Char really go over what all had happened that night. What night you ask? My lips are sealed. At first I thought Max would keep it as Charlie only knowing the bare minimum, but him remembering it that way, I sort of didn't expect it. It was emotional AF and you will feel their pain. Another important moment, was when Char and his dad had a certain big talk. It was needed and super important. To understand the background of the why's of the situation, even though it was wrong and misguided, from what is known..fear can be all-consuming in many aspects of life. °•I also loved seeing that bits and pieces kept coming back to Charlie throughout the story. The confusion and uncertainty he was feeling for so long..sigh. I wanted to hug him so much ❣°•Hearing about Austin's and ****'s story, was heartbreaking, too. I felt Austin's hurt and sadness. I wanted to hug him so much, too ❣°•The sexy-times scenes...you'll need a fan. Because I mean, damn 🔥😁😋🥰🔥 There's so much more that I want to say, but I really loved this book and I cannot wait for the next one.
