5 starsARC REVIEWThis story's the second book in The Wrong Alpha series and has a HEA. MM Romance, Sci-Fantasy / PNR. Royals. Alpha-Beta-Omega system. Alpha-Omega main couple. Shifter main character. 2 main POV. Third person. Past tense. 238 pages. Published 15th April 2021.This is the story of Jules Blake and Duke Westcliff, Devlin.Oh how I love Feral! Total hit for me! What a beauty of a story. 😍I just love the first title Unnatural, too. If there's a difference in story types to remark upon I'd say that in Feral the amount of content related to the politics is much less as in Unnatural with the emphasis even more strongly on the romance in this new one in comparison. I never considered there being too much of that political plot content in Unnatural either; I love all that and it's all very interesting and thrilling that sucks one in and certainly not lacking in the romance or Hot Stuff dept. But in Feral, the empasis of the story type in my opinion might be on the Romance to a greater extent. I don't know how is it even possible 😍 And that's very very romantic! I like both so much that I couldn't say to like either one more. The writing's typical great writing by this author. Read at one sitting type of writing. Except you reread right after reading ... Soooo Good! I cannot come up with anything to change etc. - except for wanting the next story, stat! 😄I can't wait for the next set of main characters (I think we met one already in Feral) and the plot thickening. Nor to read more about these we already know. I got impatiently curious about certain angles and the sample of the next book made me even more so. I feel so lucky to have found authors like this whose each book is a hit for me. Recommended if you like the author's writing / this type of tropes in the genre. I have a confession. I’m addicted to Alessandra Hazard’s books. The way they’re written, the characters I can’t help falling completely in love with, the out-of-this-world scorching chemistry, I can never get enough nor do I want the books to ever end. I adore possessive, arrogant Devlin with bratty, needy Julian. These two shot past want and hit need with a fierceness that left me gasping. I loved how they fought their intense attraction—though it was futile—and then *cue the fireworks* gave in ferociously to each other. “I’ll be the one whose mark you’ll have all your life, I’ll be the one who’ll br33d you.” Nngh, the claiming gets me every time but it was how they held nothing back and how real they were with each other that cemented them into my heart. I’m not afraid to admit I’m obsessed with this incredible world and the sneak peek at book three has me clamoring for more already.
